When I published my 1st book...

I told a friend that I would be happy if fifty people read inhuman. I wrote it for fun, as I got ready to publish it, I worried that nobody would read it. I was afraid it would just sit on a shelf like forgotten dreams and that one McDonald’s french fry that’s been under the front seat of your car for two and a half years— I was more than surprised when I learned that Inhuman had been read THOUSANDS of times. The reviews were overwhelmingly positive for such a dark comedy, and I was so excited that people were contacting me to tell me they fell in love with Jeffrey and Rex.

Peter Pan-Pire

When I was seven, I was cast as Peter Pan in a school play. When I learned that Peter Pan never aged, he could fly, he took children from their bedrooms at night, and his shadow moved independently…I knew he wasn’t human. I ran around the classroom in my Pan costume screaming, “I’m a vampire!”

Shhh…

Secretly, this is my favorite of my books so far. I was super worried about releasing a book with Jesus as a principal character because I was worried that my house would be firebombed. But, no fires so far, and people seem to like it as much as I do!

A best friend

This was a more personal story for me. When I discovered my dog Wally had a short time left to live, I wrote this book as a way to immortalize him. Like most dog parents, Wally wasn’t just “my dog,” he was my best friend. I’ve been blown away with the messages through social media about readers love of Wally’s depiction, and I’ve been just as happy seeing the pictures of their fur babies that they send over to me.

New Release!

in 2009, I produced a stage play that went by the name “The Zombie Monologues.” It was reproduced two years later with updated stories and a slightly larger cast. Now that COVID-19 has been causing all of us to go into hiding, there have been many strange similarities between my old play and what we are currently living through. I grabbed the old scripts and made a few updates. I also added a new story featuring a character who will be appearing in “INHUMAN 2.” Check out the book now!
